In computing we are evaluating game platforms.The first game tallier that we saw was called Journey by PlayStation. To me this game looked interesting. I liked the main character it looked different to any other character that I have seen. to me the game graphics looked good. I liked the setting of the game. this would be a game that I would play and would enjoy. The next game that we saw was called Never Alone that you can play on PlayStation, Xbox and Steam. Again I like both of the characters, I especially liked the little wolf creature. it looks like a fun adventure game. It looks like a game that is engaging and interesting. This game was made, because the community wasn't connecting with the youth so they made a game that would connect them. Since the game was made the attendance at the school went up and also the grades went up. they went from 54% to 91%. That to me is astonishing. We started off this period with a group activity. we got into groups and started off by laying down parity cards in a grid of 8x8. Parity card is a card that one side is black and the other is white. we know that a computer uses ones and zeros, so the black side of the card represents the zeros and the white represents the ones.We then had to make sure that each line and each column had the cards flipped the right way. To make sure that the cards were flipped the right way we had to make sure that there is an even amount of black cards. So if the was three cards that were black we had to flip a white so there was an even amount of black. We then went onto out computer and played a games like the one that we played in our group. We had a grid of 8x8 again and again had to make sure that there was an even amount of black like below. 07/07/17 Last week I painted the trays on the paint trolley. This week we are going to finish painting the trays and we will paint the art design on the end. I believe that we can finish this project by Wednesday.

02/08/17 Yesterday Ashley, Allie and I started painting the boarder of the paint trolley. Today we are painting the trays the the paint cans aprons etc. will be going on.

31st July 2017 According to my gantt chart today me and Allie will be painting the trays on our paint trolley. We will be deciding the colours and also designing what labels will go where.

Bird Bath 

Today me and Ashley are going to paint the base coat on our art trolley. If we have time we will also draw on the umbrella design so its ready to paint. we hope to fully finish those tasks by the end of the period.

Services      4th July LO: I will learn how to plan and document a project. SC: I have brain stormed possible ideas.  I have chosen an initial idea. I have researched my idea and found three images related to it. I have analysed my images to say what I like, what I don't like and what I might use.

Working in  group with people I know helps me a lot. I think it's being able to talk about ideas and share what we are thinking. Also it being people I am friends with makes me want to share my ideas more, because I'm not afraid of saying a stupid idea. In English we have been doing the sex-y paragraph and be colour coding it and I think it really helps for me to get my ideas down and have a full paragraph. I have tried to use the colour coding on other work and it really helped. We have also been doing reading and writing at the start of a class and the writing a paragraph before we start the class is teaching me to write faster and put my sentence together. The reading for ten minutes is helping me to read quicker, because I want to finish as much of the book as I can before the ten minutes is up. I think focusing on one thing at a time help me progress, so instead of thinking this is a whole lot of work I will never finish this I focus on the one sentence at a time and sl...
