Evaluating Game Platform

Image
In computing we are evaluating game platforms. The first game tallier that we saw was called Journey by PlayStation. To me this game looked interesting. I liked the main character it looked different to any other character that I have seen. to me the game graphics looked good. I liked the setting of the game. this would be a game that I would play and would enjoy. The next game that we saw was called Never Alone that you can play on PlayStation, Xbox and Steam. Again I like both of the characters, I especially liked the little wolf creature. it looks like a fun adventure game. It looks like a game that is engaging and interesting. Since the game was made the attendance at the school went up and also the grades went up. they went from 54% to 91%. That to me is astonishing. Imagine what that would be like if we could do something like this to Greymouth. Do you ...

Error Control

We started off this period with a group activity. we got into groups and started off by laying down parity cards in a grid of 8x8. Parity card is a card that one side is black and the other is white. we know that a computer uses ones and zeros, so the black side of the card represents the zeros and the white represents the ones.We then had to make sure that each line and each column had the cards flipped the right way. To make sure that the cards were flipped the right way we had to make sure that there is an even amount of black cards. So if the was three cards that were black we had to flip a white so there was an even amount of black. We then went onto out computer and played a games like the one that we played in our group. We had a grid of 8x8 again and again had to make sure that there was an even amount of black like below. Once we finished that you could click flip a bit and it would flip a card and you had to find the error. In conclusion decomposition basically me...
